Eddie Sequeira

STYSA Competitive Coach                      

Eddie played soccer at many levels from 1965 to present.  School soccer from Elementary through High School (Colegio Centro America, Managua, Nicaragua) – Various State Championships and National Championship.  Played Club soccer and Semi-pro soccer in New Orleans (1982 to 1994) with New Orleans Inter (SELASA League) and FC Chile (City Park/Islano League). Played and coached New Orleans Inter for several years (League Champion, League Runner-ups twice and Runner-Up in World Rugby & SoccerFest held at New Orleans in 1984).  Coached multiple Mandeville Soccer Club (MSC) teams ranging from 8U to 19U. Currently coaching teams ranging from 12U to 19U at South Tangi Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) since 2013.

Dustin Rodes

STYSA Competitive Coach

Dustin grew up playing soccer in Enumclaw, Washington. He played for Cascade Foothills Soccer Club that later became Mt. Rainier Futbol club.  During Dustin’s Freshman year, he played for an Allstate team that traveled to Holland and played in the Coca-Cola Classic.

Dustin also played 4 years of Varsity soccer for White River High School and earned all honors his Junior year and 1st team his Senior year.  During college, he played at Highline Community College where he had the opportunity to travel to England and play against the RAF and some local London teams.

After college, Dustin managed an indoor soccer center from 2002-2007. Between 2008-2012, he was a Director at Starfire Sports, which is also the home training grounds for the Seattle Sounders.

Dustin currently holds the USSF National “C” license and is a competitive coach for STYSA.

 

 


Chad Boh

STYSA Competitive Coach

Chad played soccer at STYSA from the age of 5 until the age of 10.  He then played competitive soccer in Mandeville at 11U-16U.  At age 14, he played ODP and made the State team. At age 16, he played up for a 19U team at STYSA and went to the National Invitational Tournament in Disney.

 

Chad played and lettered 4 years of high school at Ponchatoula High School as a center midfielder. He was the first freshman to start a game for the Varsity team in program history.  Chad went to Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM), where he played until an injury sidelined him.  He still plays in competitive indoor leagues and outdoor leagues across Southeast Louisiana. During the Summer of 2013, Chad competed in the National Indoor Tournament in Chicago, Illinois. Chad has coached numerous soccer camps between the ages of 18-24, including SLU, Ole Miss, and AUM, as well as individual training sessions for local Club players while he attended AUM.

Chad currently holds the USSF "E" license and is a competitive coach for STYSA. 

  

Greg Leyrer

STYSA Competitive Coach 

Greg played Club soccer at Lafreniere Park for 8 years. He also played Varsity soccer at Archbishop Rummel High School for 4 years, and lettered 3 of those years. Greg coached Recreational soccer at North Tangi Soccer Association for 5 years before moving to STYSA. Prior to coaching the competitive teams, Greg coached various STYSA recreational teams and a 10U development team.

 

For the last 5 years, Greg has played indoor soccer in Madisonville at Playmakers. He also coaches the 5th/6th grade soccer team at Holy Ghost Catholic School.

 

Greg currently holds the USSF "E" license and is a competitive coach for STYSA.  




Etienne Sequeira

STYSA Competitive Coach

Etienne starting playing Club soccer at age 5, moving to the Developmental program, and then to Competitve at age 11. Etienne joined STYSA in 2013 as a competitive player in the 16U team that won President's Cup that year. He continued to play competitive soccer with STYSA until age 18.

 

Etienne currently holds the USSF "E" license and is a competitive coach for STYSA.
